Welcome to the Girls STEAM Project! We are an educational community project based in Talladega County, Alabama, and a collaboration between Comer Museum and Arts Center and the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Birmingham (AL) Branch.

We aim to open the eyes of 7th and 8th grade girls to the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) while demonstrating the value of Art (A) and creativity within these technical fields.
